頻率的高低影響人的感受，高頻適合暗示距離近、內容具體、氣氛明朗；低頻適合暗示距離遠、內容抽象、氣氛低沈；片尾也提到味覺也受到聽覺的影響，苦的酒搭配低頻的音樂比較能讓人更覺得享受，甜酒剛好相反，適合搭配高頻的音樂。這些研究結果適合拿來應用在遊戲的「自適音樂」（adaptive music）的設計上。
